1. The cardholder is deemed to have accepted these conditions of use when the go seeQ card is made active by Translink.
  2. The cardholder must comply with:
    • these conditions of use
    • all legislation relating to smart cards, including the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Act 1994: and, if the cardholder fails to comply with the above, the cardholder indemnifies Translink for all loss, damage, costs and expenses incurred by Translink as a result of such failure.
  3. The go seeQ card may be used for travel on a designated Translink service, provided that:
    • the service is equipped with an operational card reader
    • the go seeQ card is valid, has not expired, or been blocked.
  4. A go seeQ card can be used for travel for three (3) or five (5) consecutive calendar days.
  5. The go seeQ card must be touched to a card reader at the start and finish of travel on a Translink service. This will allow a response from the card reader indicating that the go seeQ card has been read successfully. The number of go seeQ cards used for each trip must equal the number of cardholders travelling.
  6. The cardholder will be liable for all, fees and charges incurred by the use of the go seeQ card by any person until the go seeQ card has expired.
  7. The cardholder is required to touch on at the start of travel and touch off at the end of travel on a Translink service.
  8. The go seeQ card must only be used by the cardholder and is not transferable from one person to another.
  9. The go seeQ card remains the property of Translink and the card must be produced for inspection by a driver or authorised person or surrendered to Translink upon request.
  10. The cardholder must not alter, deface, tamper or interfere with the go seeQ card.
  11. The go seeQ card user information is published on the Translink website. A copy of the information is also available by calling Translink on 13 12 30.
  12. Translink may change these terms and conditions and related material (such as the Translink go seeQ card information at its discretion. Updated information will be published on the Translink website, and will also available by calling Translink on 13 12 30. Translink will use its best efforts to advertise changes to these terms and conditions before they commence.
  13. The cardholder must only access travel information, address and contact information, through ordinary use of the translink.com.au website by methods purposely made available on this website. The cardholder must not enable or permit any other person, electronic application or system to access the information.
  14. You can use your go seeQ card on all Translink bus, train and ferry services, and Airtrain services (travel on Airtrain services to or from the Airtrain Domestic Station or Airtrain International Station is limited to two (2) trips). (For information visit translink.com.au or call 13 12 30.)
  15. A go seeQ card with the expiry date removed is no longer valid for obtaining go seeQ third party offers and discounts.
  16. Refunds are not permitted.
  17. go seeQ cards cannot be used for travel on Gold Coast tourist shuttle services (pre-booked service) or theme park shuttle services (hotel pick up) operated by Surfside bus lines.
  18. All travel associated with a go seeQ card must be completed before the card expires.
  19. Expiry dates for go seeQ cards cannot be reset.
