Sunshine Coast Airport

Route 622 departs the Sunshine Coast Airport every hour and travels to Noosa Junction and Maroochydore.

At Maroochydore bus station you can connect to other urban routes, including route 600, a high frequency service travelling along the coast between Maroochydore and Caloundra.

Brisbane

Plan your journey down to Brisbane with regular departures from Nambour and Landsborough stations, and up to two trains a day from Gympie North.

Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Glasshouse Country Coaches run services to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Paper tickets can be purchased onboard a Sunshine Coast Hinterland bus service using cash. Please assist the driver by having the correct fare or small change ready.

These services do not accept go card.

If you're planning on doing more than three journeys per day, grab a go explore card for as many rides as you want. 

Contactless payments

You can use a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express card or a smart device (linked to a digital wallet) to pay for bus rides on the Sunshine Coast and for trips on trains, trams, and ferries across South East Queensland.

Tap your card or device to the validator when you start your trip and again when you finish.
Make sure to use one card or device for each person travelling.

go cards

Using a go card couldn't be easier. Simply add money to your go card and remember to tap on at the start and tap off at the end of your journey. 

go cards can be used on buses, trains, trams and ferries.

You can buy and top up go cards at retailers, as well as at major bus interchanges and train stations. They can also be bought online or by calling 13 12 30.

If you're only visiting the Sunshine Coast, you can return your go card to selected retailers or Queensland Rail ticket offices at the end of your stay to receive a full refund.

Tourist go cards

With go explore, you unlock unlimited travel on Sunshine Coast buses for only $1.50 a day. Simply tap your card to a validator at the start of your trip and tap off at the end.
