The TransLink Access Pass is a card that must be shown when asked by a driver or authorised person. You don't need to touch on and off like a go card.

This pass gives customers with an eligible disability unlimited travel on all South East Queensland TransLink bus, train, ferry and tram services (except Airtrain) until it expires.

You are required to carry the card with you all at times while travelling on our services.


Who can apply

You are eligible for a TransLink Access Pass if you meet all these conditions:

  • are a permanent Queensland resident
  • have a significant permanent physical or intellectual disability
  • can travel independently
  • have been assessed by a qualified health care professional as being unable to touch on or touch off with a go card.

If you have a vision impairment, please apply for the Vision Impairment Travel Pass instead.


  • New or renewal pass: $72.20
  • Replace a lost, stolen or damaged pass: $16.25

Renewing a pass

The TransLink Access Pass is valid for 1 year—it can be renewed each year for up to 5 years.

After 5 years or if your pass expired more than 6 months ago, you will need to apply for a new card.

You can renew your application and pay your annual fee over the phone using a Visa or MasterCard—please call 07 3851 8605.

Replace a lost, stolen or damaged pass

If you need to replace your card because it has been lost, stolen or damaged, you will need to fill out a replacement form and statutory declaration.
