Ekka returns for another year running from Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 August. Plan your best travel option below.
The following routes stop at Herston station:
- M2* - UQ Lakes to RBWH station
- 330 - Bracken Ridge to Queen Street bus station
- 331 - Bracken Ridge to Brisbane City
- 333* - Chermside to Woolloongabba station
- 340 - Carseldine to Woolloongabba station
- 341 - Taigum to Brisbane City
- 349 - Stafford to Brisbane City
- 363 - Kelvin Grove to Brisbane City
- 426 - Kenmore Hills to Brisbane City
- 431 - Kenmore to Brisbane City
- 443 - Moggill to Brisbane City
- 446 - Fig Tree Pocket to Brisbane City
- 455 - Riverhills to Brisbane City

Exhibition station has been upgraded and will be OPEN for this year's show!
Hop on the Ekka loop train from the following stations and ride the train into the heart of Ekka.

Weekend inner-city closures - King George Square, Queen Street, Roma Street busway stations
During this years show, there will be closures affecting bus stations in Brisbane City on the weekends; 9-10 & 16-17 August.
If you are catching the bus into Brisbane City and transferring to the Ekka loop train at Roma Street, please plan ahead.
Alternatively, consider hopping on the Ekka train at Central station to minimise disruptions.

- Pre-purchased paper ticket (from fare machines at bus or train stations)

Exhibition station
The new Exhibition station is fully disability compliant with raised platforms, lifts, hearing augmentation loops and ground surface tactiles.
This is the best travel option if you require assistance when travelling.
On Monday 12 and Wednesday 14 August public transport services will run differently due to the Ekka public holidays.
Check back closer to show time to see what the public holiday services will be.
