School travel information on the TransLink website has been streamlined, making it easier for parents and students to find what they need.
With the 'new look' school travel portal, customers can easily find information about services, tickets and travel safety. It's also home to the brand new school search finder. This destination based search tool shows all the school and urban services that stop near the selected school.
Routes are displayed on an interactive map, so parents can consider different options, like where they could drop the kids at a stop on their way to work.
Once a route number is chosen, customers can click through for timetable information, or make a more detailed search using journey planner.
Currently, only schools in SEQ are included in the School Route Search. However, information on school travel outside SEQ is also available on the site.
