From Saturday 14 to Sunday 29 September, there will be changes to routes 105, 106, 108, 598 and 599 due to the temporary closure of the Walter Taylor Bridge for Brisbane City Council works.
During this time, these routes will not be able to access Walter Taylor Bridge, and some stops on Wharf Street, Oxley Road, Honour Avenue and Sherwood Road will be closed. Services will run to altered routes.
If you travel on route 105, 106, 108, 598 or 599, you may need to change your travel and use alternative stops.
Alternative travel options
To travel between Chelmer and Indooroopilly, you’ll need to transfer to a train at Chelmer, Graceville, Indooroopilly, or Sherwood stations. Please transfer at Graceville station if you require lift access.

To travel towards Graceville or Sherwood from Indooroopilly, catch a train from Indooroopilly station and transfer to your bus service at Graceville station to continue your journey. | 598 | Route 598 travelling towards Sherwood and Moorooka will service Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, before terminating at stop 53 on Coonan Street at Indooroopilly station, outside the Eldorado Cinema. To continue your journey, catch a train from Indooroopilly station to travel to Chelmer, Graceville, or Sherwood stations. Route 598 will recommence from Chelmer station, travelling south along Honour Avenue, stopping at Graceville station and Sherwood station before continuing along its normal route. |
| 599 | Route 599 travelling towards Toowong will service Chelmer station, Graceville station and terminate at Sherwood station. To continue your journey, transfer to a train at any of these stations and travel to Indooroopilly station. Route 599 will recommence from stop 53 on Coonan Street at Indooroopilly station, outside the Eldorado Cinema, travelling via Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, before continuing along its normal route. During this time there will be stop closures on Honour Avenue and Sherwood Road. Please use the alternative stops shown below. |
