The Assistance Animal Pass allows you to bring your assistance animal on all Translink public transport services (excluding Airtrain), regional qconnect bus services and approved regional ferry services. Passes are valid for 5 years from the date of issue.
For Queensland Rail long distance trains and services operated outside of our service area, please contact Queensland Rail or the relevant operator to confirm access arrangements.
This pass is not accepted by organisations for access to venues or vehicles.
Apply for a pass
To apply for a Translink Assistance Animal Pass complete the Translink Assistance Animal Pass Information and Application form (PDF) and either:

Interstate visitors
Visitors from other states can use their state-issued Animal Assistance Pass on all Translink public transport services (excluding Airtrain), regional qconnect bus services and approved regional ferry services.
Animals certified by Disability Services
Guide, hearing or assistance dogs certified by Disability Services, will have a handler's identity card, and do not require a Translink Assistance Animal Pass to ride on Translink services.
