Student travel cards and assistance

Children aged 5 to 14 years (inclusive) are eligible for a 50% concession fare.

Your child may qualify for assistance under the School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS) or Non State Schools Transport Assistance Scheme (NSSTAS).

The 12 month government funded Pass starts from the initial date of enrolment in a ILU, and there is no distance or age criteria applicable to this assistance.

Eligible full-time university, TAFE and post-secondary students can apply for a 50% concession fare on Translink bus, rail, tram or ferry services (excluding Airtrain), regional bus services and approved regional ferry services.
