On Monday 30 June there will be big changes to Brisbane bus services and timetables alongside the launch of Brisbane Metro route M1 services. These changes will provide you with better bus services and more transport options.

The changes include:

  • new timetables
  • transferring as part of your journey
  • new bus routes
  • changes to your bus route number
  • catching a different service from the one you currently use
  • different pick up or drop off locations.

You may notice the timetable at your bus stop has already been updated ahead of these changes. Current bus timetables are available online, and you can continue to plan your journey using the journey planner on the website or Translink app.

Search for your bus route below for more information on how your Brisbane City Council service may be changing. Enter the route number only (e.g. 30 or P127).

You can also browse the full list of routes that are changing as part of the BNBN project.

We’re also making changes to some Logan and Redland bus services on Monday 30 June.

Why the bus network is changing

Brisbane City Council is delivering the new Brisbane Metro to help meet the travel needs of our growing city.

To support the introduction of new metro services, changes are needed to Brisbane’s bus network.

In October 2024, Brisbane City Council released Brisbane’s New Bus Network Guide, outlining changes to your bus network, informed by community consultation.

For more information on the development of the bus changes, visit Council’s Brisbane’s New Bus Network page.
