The three top drivers have been awarded in their respective categories for their passion, commitment, and exceptional customer service.

The winners were chosen by public vote, from a pool of nine finalists, with three in each category. The finalists were selected by an expert judging panel from more than 1,300 public nominations.

Each winner received a trophy and $1,000 gift card.

Congratulations to all our exceptional winners and finalists of the 2024 Queensland Bus Driver of the Year Awards.

Voting open

Vote for your favourite bus driver in each of the three categories. The drivers with the greatest number of votes in each category will be awarded the Queensland Bus Driver of the Year.

The 2024 Queensland Bus Driver of the Year Awards recognise and celebrate remarkable individuals who go the extra mile, every day.

Bus drivers play an important role in keeping our communities moving. They get us to work and home, connect us socially, help our kids travel safely to school, and enable us to enjoy major events.
