Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line with 5.9 kilometres of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD and four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.

The project will also deliver a new above-ground station at Exhibition, a rebuild for seven suburban stations between Dutton Park and Salisbury, construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast line at Pimpama, Merrimac and Hope Island and new train stabling facilities at Clapham Yard and Mayne Yard, and installation of a new world-class signalling system.

Once operational Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel across the whole of South East Queensland.

During construction of this transformative project, there will be disruptions to train services including track closures, station closures, and route diversions. While we will make every effort to lessen the impact to your journey, unfortunately some disruptions are unavoidable.

We thank you for your patience during this important and exciting project.
