Cross River Rail
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of twin tunnels under the Brisbane River and CBD.

Benefits and impacts
The Cross River Rail project will deliver:
- greater rail capacity, enabling trains to run more frequently
- four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street
- upgrades to eight above-ground stations including Salisbury, Rocklea, Moorooka, Yeerongpilly, Yeronga, Fairfield, Dutton Park and Exhibition stations
- three new aboveground stations on the Gold Coast line, at Pimpama, Helensvale North and Merrimac.
