Weekday track closure - Beenleigh, Doomben and Gold Coast lines

Overview

  • Start: First service Monday 20 April
  • End: Last service Friday 24 April
  • Affected lines: Beenleigh, Doomben and Gold Coast
    • There will also be late night track closures impacting inner city stations from 10pm until last service during this time. Please check our service updates page for more details.
  • Next normal service: These lines will continue to be impacted by the April extended track closures until Sunday 26 April.  
    • There will be changes to Beenleigh line services from Monday 27 April until December. 

Please consider your transport options, allow extra travel time and plan ahead closer to the date.

Train line information

Please plan your journey to find your best travel option.

Airport line trains will run between Domestic Airport and Cleveland until 7:30pm. 

After 7:30pm, Airport line trains will run between Domestic Airport and Boggo Road stations. 

Beenleigh and Gold Coast line trains will run as a combined all stop service between Varsity Lakes and Banoon stations.

  • Coopers Plains
  • Salisbury
  • Rocklea
  • Moorooka
  • Yeerongpilly
  • Yeronga
  • Fairfield
  • Dutton Park
  • Boggo Road

Cleveland line trains will run between Cleveland and Domestic Airport stations until 7:30pm. 

After 7:30pm, Cleveland line trains will run between Cleveland and Shorncliffe stations.

Doomben line trains will run between Doomben and Eagle Junction stations.

If you're travelling to the city, please transfer to a train at Eagle Junction station.

  • Wooloowin
  • Albion
  • Bowen Hills
  • Fortitude Valley
  • Central
  • Roma Street

Ferny Grove line trains will run between Ferny Grove and Boggo Road stations. 

Gold Coast and Beenleigh line trains will run as a combined all stop service between Varsity Lakes and Banoon stations.

  • Rocklea
  • Moorooka
  • Yeerongpilly
  • Yeronga
  • Fairfield
  • Dutton Park
  • Boggo Road

Shorncliffe line trains will run between Shorncliffe and Roma Street stations until 7:30pm. 

After 7:30pm, Shorncliffe line trains will between Shorncliffe and Cleveland stations. 

Railbus info

Timetabled railbuses will run between specific bus stops near impacted stations to help you get where you need to be.

Railbuses are impacted by road and traffic conditions, so your journey may take longer.

Please ensure you have a valid ticket for your journey. Normal fares apply. 

Bikes and e-scooters are not permitted on railbuses. Learn more about travelling with large items on the bus.
