Christmas and New Year services - South East Queensland

Over the Christmas and New Year period, services across South East Queensland will run differently due to public holidays and track closures.

All timetables have been updated in the journey planner, so please plan your journey and check for service updates before you travel.

Ferry

The CityCat and Southern Moreton Bay Island Ferries will run to a special Christmas timetable.

The CityHopper and Cross River Ferries will run to a Sunday/public holiday timetable.

Tram

Tram services will run to a weekday timetable.

Bus

Buses will run to a Sunday/public holiday timetable, with the following exceptions:

The following services will not be running from Saturday 27 to Tuesday 30 December.

All other bus services will run to a normal timetable.

Train

There will be major weekday timetable changes on all lines due to the December and January extended track closures from Saturday 27 to Tuesday 30 December.

Ferry

All ferries will run to a normal timetable from Saturday 27 to Tuesday 30 December.

Tram

All trams will run to a normal timetable from Saturday 27 to Tuesday 30 December.
