Track closure in brief
- Start: First service Monday 22 December
- End: Last service Wednesday 24 December
- Affected lines: All lines will be impacted by track closures and timetable changes.
- Next normal service: All lines will continue to be impacted by the December and January extended track closures.
During this closure, we'll be running timetabled railbuses to replace trains to help you get where you need to be.
Railbuses are impacted by road and traffic conditions, so your journey may take longer.
Please consider your transport options, allow extra travel time and plan ahead to find your fastest travel option.

Train line information
All lines will be impacted by track closures and major timetable changes.
Trains will run every 15 minutes during peak periods on all lines, except Doomben, Rosewood and Sunshine Coast lines, which will run every 30 minutes.
A train will also run every 20 minutes between Roma Street and Exhibition stations.
Please replan your journey closer to the date to find your best travel option.
Airport line trains will run between Domestic Airport and Eagle Junction station.
- Trains travelling from the Airport will then continue to Sandgate after Eagle Junction, running express between Eagle Junction and Northgate.
Timetabled railbuses will run between Eagle Junction and Roma Street stations.

Beenleigh line trains will run between Beenleigh and Roma Street stations.

Caboolture/Sunshine Coast line trains will run between Caboolture/Sunshine Coast and Northgate stations, running express between Petrie and Northgate stopping only at Geebung station.

Cleveland line trains will run between Cleveland and Roma Street stations only.

Redcliffe Peninsula line trains will run between Kippa-Ring and Northgate stations.

Shorncliffe line trains will run between Sandgate and Northgate stations only.
