Track closure in brief

We'll be running timetable railbuses to replace trains between impacted stations to help you get where you need to be.

Railbuses may take longer than trains. Please consider your transport options, allow extra travel time and plan ahead to find your fastest travel option.

Please ensure you have a valid ticket for your journey. Normal fares apply.

Airport line trains will run between Domestic and International Airport and:

  • Roma Street station on weekdays.
  • Boggo Road station on weekends. 

To the airport

To travel from the Gold Coast to the airport:

  • Catch the train to Banoon station.
  • Transfer to railbus R583 to Eagle Junction.
  • Transfer to an Airport line train.

From the airport

To travel from the airport to the Gold Coast:

  • Catch the train to Eagle Junction station.
  • Transfer to railbus R583 to Banoon station.
  • Transfer to a Gold Coast line train.
