On Sunday 12 April there will be widespread disruptions to the bus network across Brisbane due to the Tour de Brisbane cycle event. 

Parts of the busway will be affected from 4am until 1:30pm. Check the Tour de Brisbane busway closure page for full details. Nightlink services will also be affected.

In addition to the busway closures, the following closures and route diversions will be in place.

Route changes

From first service until 9:30am, the Route 60 (Blue CityGlider) will not service the West End City Gilder Terminus and Montague Road stops. 

Customers travelling to Brisbane City during this time can catch the CityCat toward Northshore Hamilton from West End ferry terminal. The first CityCat service leaves West End ferry terminal at 6:05am and departs every 30 minutes.

From first service until 9:30am, routes 196 and 198 will not travel allong the following streets in Highgate Hill and Dutton Park: 

  • Domoch Terrece
  • Paradise Street
  • Athens Street
  • Dudley Street
  • Boundary Street
  • Gladstone Road
  • Ampthill Street

From first service until 9:30am, routes 198 and 199 will have stop changes and a modified route in the West End. 

During this time, route 199 will not service: 

  • Hoogley Street
  • Orleigh Street
  • Morry Street
  • Gary Road
  • Ganges Street
  • Closed stop
  • Open stop

Customers travelling to Brisbane City can catch the CityCat towards UQ St Lucia from Bretts Wharf ferry terminal.
