- Proserpine primary and secondary students can continue to travel directly to and from school, as the 7:54am trip from Shute Harbour and 3pm trip from Proserpine has been maintained along Ruge Street.
- Your journey is now quicker and more direct, with the removal of infrequently serviced stops on Beach Road and Coral Esplanade in Cannonvale. You’ll still be able to access this location via route 860 and walking a short distance from the nearby bus stops on Shute Harbour Road.
- We’ve improved safety and made your network more efficient by closing the Blair Street stop and building a new stop on Fuljames Street (about 300 metres away). This means buses won’t have to turn right across traffic.
Timetable changes
- To help you get where you need to go, the service now starts 36 minutes earlier on weekdays (departing from Fuljames Street at 5:19am instead of Orchid Road at 5:55am) and all trips now travel via Whitsundays Plaza - making it easy to get to and from the shops.
- Your simpler timetable is easier to read, and minor changes have been made to departure and arrival times to align with the improved 860 route.
