Track closure in brief
- Start: First service Monday 23 September
- End: Last service Friday 27 September
- Affected lines:
- Airport, Beenleigh, Caboolture, Cleveland, Doomben, Gold Coast, Redcliffe Peninsula, Shorncliffe and Sunshine Coast lines will be impacted by track closures and timetable changes
- Cleveland, Ferny Grove, Ipswich/Rosewood and Springfield lines will have timetable changes. There will be no express services.
- Next normal service:
- All lines will continue to be affected after this closure.
- The next normal service will be Monday 30 September.
During this closure we'll be running timetabled railbuses to replace trains to help you get where you need to be. Allow extra travel time, as railbuses may take longer than trains.
Replan your journey to find your fastest travel option. If possible, consider travelling earlier or later. Shifting your travel time by as little as 15 minutes can provide you with a quicker journey.

StationLink route 19 runs every 15 minutes and stops at all train stations between Rocklea and the PA Hospital station.
Train line information
All lines will be impacted by timetable changes.
No express trains will run on the Cleveland or Ipswich lines.
Please replan your journey.
Airport line trains will run between Domestic Airport and Eagle Junction station. Trains travelling from the Airport will then continue to Shorncliffe after Eagle Junction, running express between Eagle Junction and Northgate.
Railbuses will run between Eagle Junction and Roma Street stations.

Gold Coast line trains will run express between Altandi and Roma Street stations, via the Tennyson loop in both directions.

If you are travelling to South Brisbane, South Bank or Park Road station, please change trains at Roma Street station.

- Cross River Rail project works:
- major track, signalling and cabling works between Dutton Park and Yeerongpilly
