Face masks are mandatory when travelling on public transport, including when seated, as per the Queensland Health directive, throughout the following areas:

  • Brisbane
  • Ipswich
  • Logan
  • Moreton Bay
  • Redlands
  • Sunshine Coast
  • Noosa
  • Somerset
  • Lockyer Valley
  • Scenic Rim
  • Gold Coast

School students

Children 12 years and older need to wear a face mask on all public transport services, excluding dedicated school buses.

When travelling on public transport, please remember to play your part and follow these steps:

  • wear a mask
  • leave a gap between you and others
  • follow our COVID-safe plan.
