On Monday 29 May, UQ Lakes station platform 1 (stops D and E) temporarily closed due to Brisbane Metro construction works.

During this time, you'll still be able to access your regular service on platform 2 (stops A and C) and the newly opened stop F. Stop B, located on platform 2 will also close.

These changes will be in place until early 2024.

If you normally catch routes 28, 29, 66, 139, 169, 192, 209, P332, please check the map below to find your alternate stop location.

For your safety, during peak times you may be asked to wait a few minutes while the platform clears. We appreciate your patience while the next stage of construction is delivered.

On Monday 24 April, we made minor changes to some UQ Lakes station bus timetables due to Brisbane Metro construction works.

These changes will be in place until early 2024. 

​​​​​If you travel on one of the below bus routes, please check journey planner or the MyTranslink app to see how your bus timetable has changed.

The last weekday evening service will now depart UQ Lakes station at 8:55pm.

You can also catch route 209 to Buranda Busway station and transfer to route 111 to travel along the busway towards Eight Mile Plains station.

UQ Lakes station upgrade works

As part of Brisbane Metro, these changes are required to enable the station upgrade to improve efficiency and reliability of the public transport network.
