From Monday 29 June, routes 122 and 133 will service new stops in Caravonica and Westcourt, making it easier to catch the bus where you need it. 

Timetables are also being updated to better reflect real travel conditions, helping you get where you need to go on time.

  • Route 122 will service the Botanica Drive at Kamerunga Road bus stop in Caravonica, bringing public transport closer to home for residents of Botanica Lifestyle Village and surrounding streets. For the first time, residents will have convenient walk-up access to bus services, with buses running seven days a week.
  • Route 122 connects Redlynch and James Cook University via Lake Placid and Smithfield, with easy connections to other bus services.
  • The timetable is also being updated to improve reliability and better reflect actual travel times.
  • Route 133 will service two new accessible bus stops on Gatton Street, Westcourt, just a two minute walk from the Cairns & District Senior Citizens Association. This will significantly reduce walking distances for members and visitors, with services running seven days a week.
  • The new stops will be located at:

    - Gatton Street at Bosanco Street - travelling toward Cairns City

    - Gatton Street at Bosanco Street - travelling toward Earleville

  • Route 133 connects Cairns City bus station and Stockland Earlville via Westcourt Plaza (DFO), TAFE, Raintrees Shopping Centre, and Mooroobool, with easy connections to other bus services.
  • The timetable is also being updated to improve reliability and better reflect actual travel times.
