This closure follows on from the major weekend track closure affecting the Northern lines on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May.

Quick travel guide

  • catch one of the railbuses from your home station to Caboolture
    • R609 - All stations between Caboolture and Landsborough
    • R610 - All stations between Nambour and Landsborough, then express to Caboolture
    • R612 - All stations between Gympie North and Nambour then express to Caboolture
  • take the train from Caboolture station towards Brisbane City.

  • catch the train to Caboolture station,
  • transfer to your best railbus there:
    • R609 - All stations between Landsborough and Caboolture
    • R610 - Express Caboolture to Landsborough, then all stations to Nambour
    • R612 - Express Caboolture to Nambour, then all station to Gympie North.

During this closure we'll be running timetabled railbuses to replace trains to help you get where you need to be.

Railbuses will run between Gympie North and Caboolture stations.

Immediately before this closure there will be another closure affecting the Sunshine Coast line.

Tracks will be closed on the Northern lines on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May. 

Timetabled railbuses will running, but please plan your travel in advance to avoid additional delays.
