*** Real time information will be available for the service from around the start of August. The system requires actual running time data to be captured for a minimum of four weeks to deliver dependable predictions. Until then, the service status will show as per the scheduled timetable.

In August 2019, we asked the Yarrabilba community about their travel needs.

During the consultation, 359 surveys were completed telling us:

  • the top two travel destinations for Yarrabilba residents are Loganlea station and Brisbane CBD
  • more frequent services were wanted, particularly during the morning and evening peak, and better timetable consistency throughout the day
  • travel incentives would encourage the community to use public transport use more often
  • most people travel to and from their destination by private vehicle, however they would prefer to travel by bus.

By providing feedback during the consultation period, the community helped us understand their travel needs and expectations. We used this feedback, along with other data and considerations, to help plan the new service.
