Benefits and features of the new station

  • The $9.77 million station is centrally located on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, near the intersection of Bunker Road and Colburn Avenue, or about 300 metres from the old station. The location of the station provides convenient access to local shops, services and amenities.

  • For your comfort and safety, the station features improved seating, better lighting and enhanced security – including 24-hour closed circuit video recording.

  • The contemporary split-platform design is sheltered from the elements, complies with disability standards and is fully accessible. The platforms are also bigger to accommodate more people and buses in the long-term.

  • Please note, the station does not include provision of a park 'n' ride facility. As per the current arrangement, there are 20 bus customer parking spaces in the Victoria Point shopping centre. Commuter parking outside these spaces is not permitted.

Additional local stop options for routes 272, 274, 277 and 282

  • Routes 277 and 282 stop at both the new station and the remaining stops on Bunker Road, near High Street.

  • Routes 272 and 274 stop at a new stop on TownCentre Drive, within the TownCentre Victoria Point shopping precinct.

  • If you have mobility issues and need to get to the shopping and restaurant precinct at Victoria Point Lakeside, you can catch routes 277 or 282 from Victoria Point Central station to the stops on Bunker Road, near High Street.
