A new bus timetable on Magnetic Island started on December 13, creating better connections with ferry services.
The pandemic had impacted ferry services, but with a steady ferry timetable now settled in, the new bus timetable ensures buses operate a schedule that better aligns with the arrival and departure of ferries at Nelly Bay.
The bus timetable changes also makes transfers between the bus and the ferry more streamlined, with a bus connection for every ferry, 7 days a week.
Also included in the timetable changes was the addition of a new school service for high school students living in Horseshoe Bay who travel to the mainland each day.
