From Monday 29 June, you can travel between Townsville Airport and Townsville City on route 222 for just 50 cents each way.
The service will run every 60 minutes from 4am to 11pm, seven days a week.*
Route 222 provides an easy connection between:
- Townsville Airport
- Breakwater ferry terminal
- Palmer Street precinct
- the stadium
- the wider bus network via the Townsville City bus hub.
With over 30 local hotels within walking distance of route 222, your destination is never far away.

*Route 222 does not operate on Good Friday or Christmas Day.
