Categories
There are three award categories to nominate a bus driver.
South East Queensland Bus Driver of the Year
This category highlights the exceptional bus drivers who serve the bustling urban communities of South East Queensland.
Regional Bus Driver of the Year
Bus drivers keep people moving and connected in remote and rural regions of Queensland, including urban and long distance coach services. This category honours those who keep our regional communities connected.
School Bus Driver of the Year
This category celebrates the dedicated individuals who ensure our children travel safely to and from school every day.

Our judging panel will review all the nominations and select three finalists from each category.

Voting open
Vote for your favourite bus driver in each of the three categories. The drivers with the greatest number of votes in each category will be awarded the Queensland Bus Driver of the Year.
3 March to 20 March 2025
Winners awarded
The winners in each category will be announced in April 2025 at the QBIC annual conference.
