From late April, Yeronga station will close for approximately 6 months as part of important Cross River Rail construction works.
This is the first in a series of rolling station closures between Fairfield and Salisbury stations.
The exact closure date will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Find out more about Cross River Rail's Yeronga station construction works.
While Yeronga station is closed, trains will run express through the station. So if Yeronga is your usual station, you will need to change the way you travel during the closure.
To help minimise disruptions to your journey, we're introducing a new, temporary StationLink bus service that will provide a link between impacted stations.
You may also have other travel options available to you, like walking or cycling to nearby stations.
Introduction of route 109 - your StationLink
To help customers impacted by the upcoming closure and Cross River Rail works, we're introducing a new, temporary route 109 service – your StationLink.
StationLink will service stops close to Moorooka, Yeerongpilly, Yeronga, Fairfield and Dutton Park train stations, before terminating at Boggo Road busway station.
Wherever possible, StationLink will run at a similar frequency to the Beenleigh line trains.
By terminating at Boggo Road busway station, you'll have connections to other high frequency buses to the city or UQ, as well as being a short walk from Park Road train station for connecting trains to the Gold Coast and Cleveland lines, or for travel to the city.
More information, including specific stop locations, will be available in March.
