From May – late July 2018, the Department of Transport and Main Roads will upgrade the Peninsula Fair shopping centre bus stops on Anzac Avenue, Kippa-Ring.

These improvement works involve:

  • relocating stop C approximately 40 metres to the west. The stop will be upgraded to a premium stop, with a large bus shelter and capacity for two buses.
  • relocating stop B approximately 20 metres to the east. The stop will also be upgraded to a premium stop, with two intermediate size shelters and capacity for two buses.
  • an additional intermediate stop (stop A), with shelter and capacity for one bus. Stop A will be constructed approximately 50 metres west of stop B.

These upgrades will allow us to better meet demand for services and provide improved access and facilities for our customers.

Changes to bus stops

There will be some changes to bus stops during and after the upgrades are complete.

Stop B

From Thursday 28 June to late July, Peninsula Fair stop B will be closed. During this time, if you travel on route 660, 680, 696, 6702, 6712, 6716 and 7066 please use the newly opened Peninsula Fair stop A, located approximately 50 metres west.

Route 694 services have permanently relocated to stop A, so buses can safely turn onto Kappella Street.
