Nominations for the 'TransLink People’s Choice Award’ have now closed.

The award recognises bus drivers who go above and beyond to enhance the customer experience for passengers.

We look forward to announcing the award shortlist soon. 

Nominees will be shortlisted based on the following criteria and supporting evidence from bus operators:

  • Positive customer impact - demonstrated examples of going above and beyond to deliver outstanding positive customer experiences, as recognised and nominated by customers
  • Customer-focused attitude - friendly, helpful, considerate, inclusive and personalised customer service
  • Excellence in customer care – safe and professional driving, presentation of passenger environment; respectful and inclusive behaviour
  • Active customer champion – evidence of the driver’s individual contribution/s to help create an outstanding customer service culture in their organisation and appropriateness for the Award.

You can vote for a shortlisted driver via the TransLink website from 3 April 2018 to determine the Award winner. Please stay tuned for updates!

The award winner will be announced in May 2018 at the Queensland Bus Industry Council Annual Awards and via the TransLink website.

The winning driver will receive a trophy and a cash prize of $1000 from the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
