Australia’s rugby league teams are hoping to lift their world cup titles this weekend and TransLink services will ensure you are sideline for the action.
The Australian Jillaroos play New Zealand in the women’s Rugby League World Cup final at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 2 December before the Kangaroos take on England in a battle for the men’s world crown.
The women’s final begins at 3.45pm and the men’s at 7pm at Suncorp Stadium.
TransLink will run special shuttle services from 3pm from the city, Carindale and Chermside bus interchanges, Eight Mile Plains and Mt Gravatt busway stations and The Gap terminus on Waterworks Road.
Shuttle services will return to those sites for one hour after full-time of the men’s game.
Ticketholders will receive free bus travel on Brisbane City Council services and free rail transport.
