Airtrain, a non-TransLink operator, links Brisbane's International and Domestic Airports with Brisbane City and the Gold Coast.

Tickets and fares

You can buy Airtrain tickets from the Airtrain website, from your local train station or from the airport.

You can also use your go card on Airtrain services, however the regular Airtrain fare will be calculated.

Kids travel free

Children aged five to 14 can travel free between Brisbane Airport (Domestic and International Airport stations) and Eagle Junction, Wooloowin, Albion, Bowen Hills, Fortitude Valley, Central, Roma Street and South Brisbane stations when accompanied by a paying adult.

Check the Airtrain website for more details about this offer.

In order to receive your free child travel, an adult must purchase a paper ticket at the same time as the child's from the airport or an attended Queensland Rail station. Children will receive free tickets (to/from city stations) for their travel. Each child still needs a valid ticket to travel on the Queensland Rail train network.
