Far side and approaching

Far side means the bus stop is on the far side of the street in the direction of travel.

Approaching means the bus stop is located before the street in the direction of travel.


This stop is on street B, on the far side of street A.


This stop is on street B, approaching street A.

Opposite far side and opposite approaching

Opposite far side means the bus stop is opposite and on the far side of the street in the direction of travel.

Opposite approaching means the bus stop is opposite the approaching street in the direction of travel.


This stop is on street B, opposite and approaching street A.


This stop is on street B, opposite and on the far side of street A.

Different types of bus stops

Light blue blades are used at CityGlider stops. Yellow blades are used at Spring Hill Loop stops, and red blades are used at Brisbane City Loop stops - free loop services.
