The new Redbank Plaza station was opened on 8 February 2012. It is part of TransLink's $48 million Station Upgrade Program and has replaced the bus stop at Redbank Plaza.
The new station provides:
- a new fully sheltered passenger waiting platform with two bus bays
- a safe and comfortable waiting environment for customers
- improved pedestrian and disabled access
- a new bus turnaround facility to provide direct access for buses servicing the new station
- security cameras, lighting and 24-hour video recording
- existing bus stops converted into a larger taxi rank
- landscaping including drought-resistant plants.

Redbank Plaza station
The new station will help to reduce bus travel times, improve timetable reliability, cater for continued network growth and encourage more people to use public transport.
It is located off Collingwood Drive on the north western side of the Plaza and took approximately six months to construct.
