In accordance with the power afforded to it by section 67B of the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Act 1994, by publishing this notice the TransLink Transit Authority declares the following are 'special events' for the purposes of that Act:
- National Rugby League and A League Football and other events scheduled to be played at Skilled Park Stadium, Robina, from 1 March 2011 to 29 February 2012 (inclusive)
- Summerfieldaze at Doug Jennings Park, Main Beach on the 2 January 2012
- Big Day Out at the Parklands, Southport on the 22 January 2012
- CQID Reconciliation Carnival, Southport from 27-29 January 2012
- Mooloolaba Triathlon on 23-25 March 2012
- Noosa Triathlon on 5-6 May 2012
- Creamfields, Parklands Southport on the 6 May 2012
- Noosa International Food and Wine Festival from 17-20 May 2012
- AFL matches and other events scheduled to be held at Metricon Stadium Carrara, from 22 May 2011 to 31 December 2012 (inclusive).
- Cooly Rocks On from 1-11 June 2012
- Gold Coast Marathon from 30 June to 1 July 2012
- Bridge to Brisbane on the 2 September 2012
- Noosa Triathlon on the 4 November 2012
and all other events to be held at:
- Boondall Entertainment Centre, Boondall
- Queensland Tennis Centre, Tennyson
- Stocklands, Bokarina.
