Cleveland train line: Dutton Park to Cleveland stations - Saturday 18 February - Sunday 19 February
Caboolture train line: Northgate to Petrie stations - 10pm to last train - Monday 20 February
Buses will replace trains on the Cleveland line this weekend and part of the Caboolture line on Monday night.
TransLink spokesman Andrew Berkman said the Cleveland train line between Dutton Park and Cleveland stations would be closed from the first train on Saturday (18 February) until the last train on Sunday (19 February).
"Outbound passengers should catch a train to Dutton Park station on the Beenleigh line then board a connecting bus stopping all stations to Cleveland, while inbound passengers travelling from Cleveland towards the city should board a connecting bus, stopping all stations, from Cleveland to Dutton Park," Mr Berkman said.
"At Dutton Park, a train will be waiting for passengers to complete their journey to the city, stopping all stations."
The weekend closure will allow Queensland Rail to undertake track work at Wynnum North, signalling works at Lota, as well as graffiti removal, vegetation trimming and other general maintenance.
Customers heading to the following events should plan their journey with the closure in mind:
- Brisbane Roar vs Melbourne Victory at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night
- Australia vs India one day international cricket at The Gabba on Sunday afternoon.
Normal Cleveland line trains resume on Monday 20 February.
Buses will also replace trains between Northgate and Petrie train stations from 10pm until the last services on Monday night (20 February).
"Trains will run as normal between city stations and Northgate, plus between Petrie and Caboolture stations," Mr Berkman said.
"Trains on the Sunshine Coast line will operate as normal but passengers travelling to and from Brisbane will be carried by bus between Northgate and Petrie stations.
Normal Caboolture line trains resume on Tuesday 21 February.
